Audrey’s Shoes for Kids

Posted May 5, 2018 Rockbrook Bulldogs and student council were able to present Mrs. Warming and the ASK Foundation a check for $500.00. We would like to thank you for participating in spirit week!

Posted April 27, 2018 Mrs. Kyle, 2nd Grade Teacher at Rockbrook, has been named Westside’s Teacher of the Month for April 2018! Click here to read more!



Posted April 16, 2018 Students have observing their own personal compost tubs inside.  It was time to move the composter tubs to our outside bin.  Students have been learning about what happens to fruits and vegetables when they are added to grass and soil.


Garden Club Cooking

Posted March 11, 2018 Garden Clubbers love using fresh vegetables to create healthy foods.  They learn about different kinds of vegetables they may not always eat.  Garden Club has already started plants to get ready for Spring planting.  If you have any questions, you can contact Mrs. Raphael at raphael.elizabeth@westside66.net  


Enrichment Clusters 2018

Posted February 19, 2018 Students are in the middle of a great adventure!  Across the building, students are immersed in Friday afternoon clusters exploring their special interests.  These students in the animal group had quite an experience.  They got up close and personal with all kinds of interesting creatures!


1-2-3 Music Program

Posted February 13, 2018 Fabulous 1-2-3 Grade Program.  Thanks Ms. Swanson for all of her hard work as well as students and parents for their support.


New Benches

Posted December 6, 2017 Check out the new benches and wonderful landscaping.  Gus Parsonage and friends worked all day to make new benches and add new landscaping.  Great job!


Eagle Scout Projects

Posted December 6, 2017 Matthew Zimmerman and crew worked hard to improve our garden area by adding gutters with rain barrels, a new platform entrance, and fixing up the foundation.  Matthew has been involved in planning and implementing garden projects in order to earn his Eagle Scout badge.


Rockbrook Geography Bee 2017

Posted December 6, 2017 A Geography Bee took place at Rockbrook Elementary on December 6th, and 5th grader Townsend Holan was the winner!  The Rockbrook Bee was the first round in the 30th annual National Geographic Bee, a geography competition designed to inspire and reward students’ curiosity about the world. Thousands of schools around the United States and in the five U.S. territories are participating in the 2018 National Geographic Bee.  Townsend’s next step is…
