Westside Schools To Remain Closed For Remainder Of School Year

Posted April 2, 2020 Governor Ricketts issued an order Wednesday night requiring Nebraska schools to operate without students in buildings through May 31. With that, we now know that we will NOT be able to physically come back together this school year; Westside Community Schools will remain closed with our extended campus learning format to continue. Gardening and Robotics???

The Techno-Difficulties robotics group came to present to Garden Club. They talked about their project at Gifford Park Community Garden. One goal of the group is to make their community better. The project includes a solar powered watering system and an underground cistern. The shed will also have a “green” roof with plants that will attract insects that are helpful to plants.
